The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for engagement of the following Project Personnel in the Project “Assessment of disease prevalence in ungulates in Mizoram” purely on a contractual basis for a period of 6 months (likely to be extended).
The project proposes to assess the prevalence of infectious diseases in selected PAs in Mizoram with special reference to pathogens that caused mortality of wild and domestic ungulates in the recent past. Candidates willing to work in field for sample collections and in Lab to conduct analytical works may apply.
Eligibility
Essential Qualification: B.Sc. degree (Life Sciences)
Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular work/ disease diagnosis/field work.
Age: Not exceeding 50 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.
Work Description
Carryout field work for sample collections from wild/domestic ungulates and conduct analytical works in the laboratory, assist in report writing.

Interview

Salary
Rs. 20,000/- month + HRA as admissible.
